Homemade flavoured waters are pretty damn good, right? They’re super refreshing, nutritious and much more flavoursome than the sugary, shop bought variety. From fresh cucumber to citrus tang, fruit infused water is really easy to create and a much tastier way to quench your thirst. This Jamie Oliver watermelon recipe is probably my favourite. What you need:
- handful of fresh basil
- 1 Lime
- add some ice and still water to a jug;
- chop the watermelon, place a few chunks into the jug and muddle with a wooden spoon to release some of the flavours;
- quarter the lime, squeeze in the juice to add flavour and chuck in for added colour;
- add a handful of basil and muddle everything together.
